I got my day off, so I'm sitting in front of my laptop, drinking my morning coffee. My future wife is working, our cats are running around wondering why I'm still home, the neighbours are wondering where this loud Mötorhead is coming from and I will drink a beer in a while. Because I can.

Hullo! Ahahahah. I, too, have trouble thinking what they understood when I say my name. Funnily, though. One chick got my name 100% accurate these days. I was really surprised! She revealed that she dated a german for 11 years when I was leaving.

I got two Chrome Division albums. That's an awesome band! Haven't listened to it in a while! Thanks for the reminder!

They're pretty famous around here! At least among headbangers I know.

There was a time, on my late teen years, where I was so into metal I was trying to at least know as many bands as possible. Know all connections and side projects of great musicians.

I came to the conclusion that side projects and bands not that famous are sometimes better than the rock monsters. Chrome Division is a great example of this. Another one is Dezperadoz.

I should've known.. Bands like Chrome division has rather few followers here in Norway, but I should've known they're big in Japan (sorry, couldn't resist :P), South America and down in Europe.

Dezperadoz is new to me, I'll listen to them right now.

There she is: Simple as it gets. I don't even have any sort of control over the pressure, it's on/off -> Espresso/Steam. But still, when you get to know it it's a great tool. It's making me at least 2 espressos per day for 2 years now.

Metal/Rock/Punk-covers of popmusic is ALWAYS great (should that be are?) A local death metal band did a cover of Mileys "party in the usa", I almost wet my own pants :P

Yep! I thought of replacing it when I saw a fully featured one for US$150,00 but it would be out of pure vanity. Also, I'll espresso the crap out of this one until it's broken. Then I'll buy another one exactly like it.

I backed a machine project on Kickstarter a couple years ago. They're doing good work, and I'll have the best machine that $250 could buy. The retail price, though, will be closer to $700...

Nice. International shipping is a bummer. I've backed way too many things. That machine was the first one, but last year I was out of control... Never had one go wrong, though.

On the first album they were actually called Desperados, with S instead of Z. The singer was still Onkel Tom Angelripper from Sodom (he still makes appearances on the newer albums).

Also, Onkel Tom's solo albums are VERY FUNNY if you know anything about Volksmusik. Many of the songs he covers are actually the songs my grampa used to sing.

Yeah, I felt the same when a friend of mine (who has no idea about Volksmusik. Doesn't like Sodom or ever heard about Onkel Tom) showed me Dezperadoz. No idea how he stumbled upon this band, but I'm glad he did.
